DeKalb golf course broken into
By ALAN EDRINN

Two suspects attempted a burglary Monday at the Buena Vista Golf Course.

Police responded about 10:15 p.m. Monday to the golf course, 131 Buena Vista Drive, after an alarm sounded at the course’s clubhouse.

Police found the door had been forced open and an unknown amount of money was taken. A K-9 unit was brought to the scene. No suspects were located.

“It is believed the alarm probably scared them off,” said Lt. Gary Spangler of the DeKalb Police Department.
