Reichard and Naughton headed to NCAA Gymnastics Championships

Holly Reichard and Jennifer Naughton earned NCAA bids in the all-around and balance beam respectively for the competition on Saturday, April 4 at Fayetteville, Ark.

Reichard was named the 2009 MAC Gymnast of the Year by league coaches while Naughton became the first Huskie to win the MAC Senior Gymnast of the Year honor. The two helped NIU to some of its highest team scores in school history during the season while the team’s third place finish at the MAC Championships tied for NIU’s best placing ever.

In addition to Reichard and Naughton, Leah Johnson was named an alternate on the floor exercise.
