Liz Peerboom

Education: 1980 DeKalb High School alumna, Certificate of Word Processing from Kishwaukee College

Experience: Worked in the City of DeKalb for almost 18 years: worked in the city clerk’s office for 15 months, secretary at Public Works (1996-2007) and worked in finance department

What will you bring to the city if elected?: I already know how to issue licenses. I have also worked during city council meetings, and I have done basically everything a city clerk does, so experience is key.

A vote for continuing the city clerk's policies and staffing would be a disaster to open government in DeKalb. There are four other candidates running for this office. Anyone but Peerboom, folks.
