Student encourages fellow students to vote Eugene Smith as DeKalb 6th ward alderman

Tomorrow, I encourage students to cast a vote for Eugene Smith for DeKalb's 6th Ward Aldermanic position. There is no doubt in my mind that a change is needed for the 6th ward. Of the three challengers, Eugene Smith is the most likely to work with the residents of the ward in bringing that change.

Eugene has represented students on campus through roles as a Student Association senator, judicial advocate, and currently as president of the Residence Hall Association. If elected, he will work to ensure that he represents everyone in the 6th ward, students and permanent residents alike.

He has grown to know the community better through working on previous campaigns and as a precinct committeeman. He is committed to DeKalb and to the residents of the 6th ward, and I am sure he will be a great alderman.
