University Police Blotter: April 10

April 6

At 10:14 p.m., University Police responded to a report of two combative females at the Huskies Den in the Holmes Student Center. One of the females had broken a pool bridge. Friends, security and the responding officer separated the females. One of the females received a referral to Judicial Affairs for criminal damage to property and was escorted from the building. The other female was given a 24-hour ban and was also escorted from the building.

At 10:34 a.m., University Police on patrol observed an individual who was previously banned from all NIU property at Lincoln Hall. Officers arrested Steven A. Starnes, 19, of Chicago, for criminal trespass on state-supported land. Officers booked Starnes at the NIU Police Department where he posted bond and was released.
