No. 50: Justin McCareins

Before pulling on a chin strap for the Tennessee Titans, Justin McCareins rewrote the NIU receiving record book.

In his career as a Huskie, McCareins caught 204 passes for 2,991 yards and 29 touchdowns. The Naperville North product holds NIU career records in those categories and also for most 100-yard games in a season (6), most 100-yard games in a career (13) and also ranks second in receiving yards in a season with 1,168 in 2000.

McCareins was drafted No. 124 overall in the fourth round of the 2001 NFL Draft by Tennessee Titans. In the NFL, he has played two stints with the Titans and also with the New York Jets.
