No. 39: Scott Simon

Scott Simon owns five NIU hitting records (games played, at-bats, hits, doubles and RBI) and ranks No. 7 with a .350 batting average for his career. His 318 career hits earned him the title of the All-Time MAC Hit King. Simon also ranks third in NIU history with 155 runs scored and tied for sixth with 21 home runs.

In the 2007 MAC Tournament, Simon passed Clark Mace in career league hits and moved himself up to second on the career doubles list (69) and second in career MAC at-bats (909).
Simon is currently playing for the Rockford RiverHawks of the Frontier League.
