By NORTHERN STAR STAFF
Last updated on 04/21/2009 at 11:18 p.m.

Ben Heizer is a two-time All-American by finishing sixth in 2003 and as runner-up in 2004. He finished his senior season with a 30-2 record and became only the second Texas native to ever reach the NCAA title match. Heizer was the third Huskie wrestler to win back-to-back All-America honors and third wrestler to be an All-American under head coach Dave Grant. Prior to Heizer, only two NIU wrestlers had ever reached the finals at the Division I level, with only one, Roy Conrad, coming away victorious.
