No. 13 :Jack Pheanis

Jack Pheanis is a four-time NIU Hall of Famer and served NIU for 49 years.
As head men’s golf coach for 37 years, Pheanis coached All-Americans Mick Soli and Greg Dick.
On the links, the Huskies won two MAC titles (1976 and 1985), one IIAC (1960) and the four Mid-Continent (1989-91, 1994).

Pheanis is a six-time Coach of the Year and tutored four NCAA qualifiers in his career (Dick Suesens, Soli, Dick and Kelly Holmes). He was the head coach of the 1976 team that went to the NCAA Championships.
