No 7: Jane Albright

Jane Albright led the NIU women’s basketball team to four NCAA Tournaments and holds the Huskies record with 188 wins in 10 seasons.

Albright set Chick Evans Field House attendance records, and scheduled powerhouse teams such as Tennessee, North Carolina State, Iowa, USC and South Carolina.

Her teams produced three regular season conference titles and finished No. 17 in the nation in 1989-90.

Albright ranks in the Top 50 active and all time for women’s basketball coaches by win-loss percentage and victories.
