NIU's English picked No. 16 in draft by Chargers

Larry English was selected in the 1st Round, pick No. 16 by the San Diego Chargers in the 2009 NFL Draft. With the pick, English is the highest draft pick in Huskie football history.

He will join new teammates LaDanian Tomlinson and Phillip Rivers. Check out Monday's edition of the Northern Star for a further breakdown of English and his new team.
