University Police Blotter: Thursday, April 30

April 28
At 11:02 a.m., University Police responded to a fight in progress at Grant South. An individual confronted and hit another person he had a fight with at a previous time. Officers arrested James A. Zrust, 19, of Evanston, for battery. Officers booked Zrust at the NIU Police Department, where he posted bond and was later released.

At 12:25 p.m., a victim reported someone used her OneCard after she lost it at Village Commons Bookstore the previous day. Case is pending.

At 7:56 p.m., a victim reported someone stole the antenna from their vehicle parked in Lot W on April 27. Case is pending.

At 10:34 p.m., University Police responded to a possible battery at Lincoln Hall. Two individuals who had aggressively made contact with each other were referred to Judicial Affairs.
