Administrators will not be shaking hands with graduates this weekend, as part of a special precautionary measure taken by NIU in response to possible spreading of the H1N1 swine flu.

The university announced the details on its Web site this morning.

NIU is hoping people who are ill will reconsider attending the ceremony. Hand sanitizers will be located in both the north and south lobbies as well as the restrooms inside the NIU Convocation Center.

A first aid station will be available for those who have any problems or questions regarding the flu.

Yes. Of course.
No, I couldn't make it.
I wish.
I don't even know what a football looks like.
