Twenty-seven uniformed officers and five individuals in civilian clothes will be involved with the simulation that will also include simulated weapons and ammunition, the message said.

The exercise will be conducted by the University of Louisville Crime Prevention Institute as part of ongoing training to increase safety on campus, the message said.
