A delivery driver was robbed in the early morning on June 21 after finishing a delivery in the 700 block of Regent Drive, police said.

At about 2 a.m., the driver was returning to his car after delivering an order in the area when he was approached by a masked man who pulled out a gun and demanded money from the driver, said DeKalb Police Sgt. Bob Redel. The suspect, described only as a tall man with black shorts, then fled from the area and was last seen running behind a building in the area, Redel said.
The driver was not injured in the robbery, and Redel could not comment on the amount of cash taken.

The customer who ordered the food is not a suspect, Redel said. Investigators found some witnesses who reported seeing the suspect in the area before the robbery, Redel said. Police have some good leads, but no suspects in the case, he said.
