Playing at Otto's on July 25

After twenty years playing together, 3 million albums sold and supporting some of the biggest bands of all time on tour, genre fusing band Rusted Root is bringing their unique sound to town when they play Otto’s Niteclub, 118 E. Lincoln Highway, on July 25 at 9 p.m.

The bluegrass rockers, who also use percussion inspired from different cultures across the world, are on tour to support its first album in seven years, “Stereo Radio,” according to a news release.

Over the course of its career, the band has performed with notable acts such as The Grateful Dead, Santana, Dave Matthews Band, The Allman Brothers and a coveted spot with Led Zeppelin rockers Robert Plant and Jimmy Page during their reunion tour. The show at Otto’s will feature the original members of the band.

Rusted Root previously played DeKalb nearly a decade ago, according to a Feb. 6, 2001 Northern Star article.

The cost of admission is $20 and you must be 21 to enter. Tickets can be purchased at www.kickstandproductions.net
