NIU student robbed Tuesday morning

DeKALB | An NIU student was robbed Tuesday morning in the 1100 block of Blackhawk Road.
About 3:30 a.m., the student was walking alone when he was approached by three men. One of the suspects knocked down the victim. The suspects took property from the victim before leaving the area on foot, according to a DeKalb Police Department press release. No weapons were reported.
One of the suspects is described as a black male, 5-foot-10, medium build and between 20 and 25 years old.
The victim had minor injuries and did not require medical attention.
