Campus police blotter for Aug. 28

Aug. 26

• At 10:43 p.m., University Police patrolling Douglas Hall smelled burnt cannabis. Officers found the room emitting the odor and were allowed in. The resident admitted to smoking marijuana and handed over a small amount and drug paraphernalia. He was referred to Judicial Affairs.

• At 11:42 p.m., University Police witnessed a vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign near Stadium Drive. The officer noticed a smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver admitted to having smoked earlier and having a pipe in the car. He was cited for disobeying a stop sign.
