Emergency guide for pending zombie attacks

If a zombie apocalypse ever occurs, run to your bookie and take the zombies and the points.
Most art forms that involve the flesh-eating undead are usually pretty good, even if only for novelty value.
Because Halloween is slowly creeping up on us, video stores everywhere are getting a lot of zombie titles. This guide is presented to you in the hopes that you can be somewhat prepared for the inevitable zombie outbreak.
The first of these films was a monumental work that displayed human nature and politics through the lens of awesome zombie killing. The sequel, with an entirely new cast, new director and new everything, was surprisingly awesome.
While I won’t say what the entire movie is about, I will say that the storyline is fantastic. The gore is good, but there should be a push to prevent movies from using camera angles that blur the action and prevent the audience from getting the full effect of splattered zombie brains.
If a breakout occurs in DeKalb, watch “28 Weeks Later” to understand why you shouldn’t kiss a zombie, no matter how enticing.

The best half of “Grindhouse” comes to video in a week or so. Even though Robert Rodriguez directed “Spy Kids,” he still knows his way around a campy zombie flick. Freddy Rodriguez, better known as the guy who fixed corpses in “Six Feet Under,” destroys a bunch of zombies in this one. There are some quality cameos in this movie, including appearances by Fergie, Bruce Willis and, of course, Quentin Tarantino in the odd role of Rapist No. 2.
This movie still maintains some cool death scenes, which are so bloody the film almost becomes “Kill Bill” with zombies. Rose McGowan is good as Cherry Darling, the girl with the gun on her leg. If you’ve ever watched a zombie movie and felt disappointed with the lack of good, undead death, “Planet Terror” is your antidote.
If these movies bare any truth, there will be a zombie apocalypse someday. Do your research now, and when the zombie apocalypse comes, try to find someone big and intimidating like Ving Rhames to protect you. He always seems to cut through corpses.
