Summer Music: Fergie
By Herminia Irizarry

Fergie: Big Girls Don’t Cry

Finally a Fergie song that doesn’t showcase her spelling skills!

“Big Girls Don’t Cry” has been a Top 40 number one hit for several weeks this summer and is a first in Fergie’s collection of radio singles that slows down and embraces a more emotional side of the famed speller. “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” a song about a love that she has to leave, is prettily written.

More importantly though, the song convincingly shows a different side to Fergie’s music; it can’t all be bad!
