The Student Association is holding its ninth annual expo at Central Park Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

All SA–funded organizations will have a display table with members alongside offering information to the student’s interest.

“This is a great opportunity for students to get involved on campus and develop relationships with the institution,” said SA Vice President, Erik Calmeyer. “It’s a great chance for students to
interact with organizations that they really like.”

The expo will hold DeKalb’s best pizza contest between Toppers, Pizza Pros and Dominoes, Calmeyer said. Besides pizza, they will also offer burgers, hotdogs and popcorn. The expo will have fun and games with joust competitions and a giant spider man obstacle course.

Last year the expo had more than 1,000 students in attendance and is expecting a bigger turnout this year.

“The organization expo should be significant to students,” said Monashae Brownlee, a senior geography major and President of S.I.S.T.E.R.S. “It gives students exposure to a variety of organizations that can contribute to their growth as a student and overall individual.”
