Northern Star wins awards in Texas
"Back to the '80s" rocks the Egyptian Theatre

At 12:11 a.m. Monday, DeKalb Police were called to the 700 block of Annie Glidden Road for an alleged burglary. Police arrested three DeKalb men, Jacob J. Mellema, 20, Christopher Copeland, 22 and Jacob E. Roodhouse, 18, and charged them with burglary of a motor vehicle and theft under $300. Police later learned the suspects were also allegedly involved in multiple car thefts on that night. They were later transported to DeKalb County Jail.
At 12:50 a.m. Monday, DeKalb Police were called to the 100 block of W. Lincoln Highway while investigating a prowler call. Police learned one of the residents, Juan D. Ramon, 31, of DeKalb had a failure to appear warrant for driving with a suspended license out in his name. Ramon was arrested and later transported to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.
At 6:23 p.m. Sunday, DeKalb Police were called to the 500 block of DeKalb Avenue for assistance. Police learned the subject, Katerina A. Panourgias, 62, of DeKalb had a failure to appear warrant out in her name for domestic battery. She was later released on bond.
