A car crashed into the Kishwaukee Medical Associates building, 954 W. State St., Sycamore, Thursday afternoon.

The suspect accidentally hit the acceleration pedal in his car instead of braking. This caused him to crash into the Kishwaukee Medical Associates building, said Sycamore Fire Lieutenant Todd Turner.

“The vehicle hit the building, but did not go inside,” Turner said.

The building was cleared of any structural damage by the city code enforcement.

The name of the suspect has not been released. Turner said the individual was uninjured.

I saw the whole thing. It was the building that attacked the car, not the other way around!
