Ozzie Guillen the only Sox member to care

Contrary to popular belief, there is still baseball going on in Chicago.

Ozzie Guillen wants to make sure you know.

Ozzie blasted his players, quite vulgarly, this weekend for going into the clubhouse and watching football on the tube. As could be expected, few to none of the quotes are appropriate for reprinting.

In a town with managers known for their expletive-spewing tendencies, this hardly comes as any sort of surprise. While the White Sox are eliminated from playoff contention, leaving the field to watch a football game is beyond dumb.

While it’s good to see there is still some competitive fire coming from someone wearing a White Sox uniform, it’s just not promising when it’s always coming from the same person. The team’s only consolation is that they might have understood about half of what Guillen said.

That’s a positive, as long as nobody invites him into the clubhouse to play Hooked on Phonics.
