Huskie fan urges crowd to quietly support offense

Dear NIU Fans. Would you please shut up when the Huskies are on offense? The way that home field advantage works is that when the other team is on offense, you yell, scream, bang Thunderstix and be as loud as possible, with the goal of preventing the other team’s players from hearing their quarterback’s audibles. When we are on offense, you do not yell, scream, or bang Thunderstix, with the goal of ensuring that our players hear the audibles. I applaud your enthusiasm, but please be kind enough to our team to use it to their advantage.
