Second suspect sought for Sycamore retail theft

Sycamore investigators have obtained a warrant for a suspect in a March 31 retail theft at Radio Shack, 2690 DeKalb Ave., in Sycamore.

Investigators concluded Jason A. Drones-Akins, 25, of Chicago, was one of two people involved in the theft. The warrant is for a Class 3 felony Retail Theft that is punishable by two to five years in prison and a fine of no more than $25,000.

Drones-Akins is currently being held in the Illinois Department of Corrections on an unrelated matter.

Investigators are still trying to confirm the identity of the second suspect.
