The Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity house, 907 Greenbrier Road, is scheduled to be demolished.
Construction was done to disconnect the sewer and water lines from the building Wednesday, preventing the Huskie Bus Line from going that route.
Foreman Matt Berg said the lines are expected to be cut by Thursday, as is the patching of the road, weather permitting. Berg also said the Tau Kappa Epsilon building itself is expected to be torn down over the course of this month.
Al Davis, general manager of the Huskie Bus Line, said they should be sending buses back through Greenbrier Road by Friday at the earliest. The 3 and 3A buses are currently being re-routed to Hillcrest Drive.
The house will be demolished to become a parking lot for the Evans Scholar Rooming House next door, 901 Greenbrier Road. Residents of the scholar house are living in the TKE residence, while fraternity members are living in an apartment complex nearby.
