CROP: COMMUNITIES RESPONDING TO OVERCOME POVERTY will host “Sondra King Memorial CROP Hunger Walk” at 3 p.m. Sunday at Westminster Presbyterian Church at 830 N. Annie Glidden Road. It is a four-mile walk or one golden mile walk against hunger. Registration is at 2 p.m., while the walk begins at 3 p.m. For more information, e-mail Amy Ozier at aozier@niu.edu or Alyssa Gray at grayalyssa@hotmail.com.

KRYSTAL’S ULTRA LOUNGE
will host live stand-up comedy at 7 p.m. today at 122 S. First St. Acts featured include Jeb Cadwell and Meechie. The cost is $10 a person or $15 a couple. For more information, call Paul at 815-517-0580.

TRIO SCHOLARS will host a candy sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today in DuSable Hall. They will be selling candy, walking tacos, pickles and juices. For more information, e-mail Arlieta Hall at trio.scholars@yahoo.com.
