At 1:31 a.m. Saturday, DeKalb Police were called to 100 W. Lincoln Highway after a reported fight in progress.

According to a DeKalb Police report, witnesses said a subject was mugged. Police located the victim at 200 S. Second St. The report said the victim did not want any police assistance or medical treatment.

DeKalb Police Lt. Gary Spangler said police ran the I.D. of one of the victims, Jeremy Le Vaughn Fielder, 23, of St. Harvey, and he was found to have a warrant in his name. Fielder was arrested and searched on the scene, the report said. Police found a bag that tested positive for .05 grams of cocaine in his pants pocket. Fielder was later transported to DeKalb County Jail where a second search later turned up another .05 grams of cocaine.

Fielder is charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a Class 4 Felony and the failure to appear warrant for criminal trespass to residence.
