City police blotter for Oct. 21

At 8:30 a.m. Monday, DeKalb Police stopped a vehicle in the 300 block of N. Seventh Street. Police learned the driver, Uriel Gomez-Martinez, 27, of DeKalb had a suspended license. Gomez-Martinez was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license. He was later released on bond.

At 3:56 p.m. Monday, DeKalb Police observed a suspect known to have a warrant in the 900 block of N. Annie Glidden Road. Police arrested Damien X. Hammette, 20, of DeKalb, after confirming he had a failure to appear warrant out of McLean County. Hammette was later transported to DeKalb County Jail.

At 9:21 p.m. Monday, DeKalb Police were called to Schnucks, 975 S. Annie Glidden Road about an alleged theft. Police arrested Rebecca N. Griffith-Perez, 19, of DeKalb and charged her with retail theft and possession of alcohol. She was later released on bond.
