COLLEGE OF EDUCATION will host a CAHE Student-Faculty Annual Retreat from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the Holmes Student Center. The cost is $50. For more information, e-mail Andrea Rusin at abuford@niu.edu.

VERIZON WIRELESS will host a PDA and smart phone workshop at the Verizon Wireless Store at 2387 Sycamore Road. The class is geared to help customers get the most out of their advanced wireless devices by learning about exclusive functions and features, including touch screens, ringtones, text messaging, Internet browsing, using e-mail and the camera.
