Student says Chief Grady supporters perpetuating the issue of racism

The supporters of Chief Grady must not have listened to what they were saying. “’The editorial was cowardly with no names:” and the persons chose to remain nameless for the interview. “’It was filled with criticisms with no evidence:’” when the argument of rank and of a power struggle between DeKalb, Sycamore and the State Police was refuted because the UP is commissioned by the NIU Board of Trustees, as well as claiming this is a race issue when there was no issue of race in the original editorial taken out in the Northern Star. Racism is a fact that is ingrained in society. Even though it is cemented in everyday life, perpetuating it is still just as horrible.
