City police blotter for Oct. 27

At 11 a.m. Sunday, DeKalb Police stopped a vehicle in the 700 block of Fotis Drive for not having a front license plate. Police learned the driver, Ricky D. Smith, 22, of DeKalb, had a suspended license. Smith was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, no insurance and no front plate. He was later released on bond.

At 7:23 p.m. Sunday, DeKalb Police stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of North Annie Glidden Road for running a red light. Police learned the driver, Joseph J. Pine, 21, of Plainfield, had a failure to appear warrant for theft and had a suspended license. Pine was arrested and charged on account of the warrant, driving with a suspended license, no insurance and disobeying a traffic control signal. He was later transported to the DeKalb County Jail.

At 1:45 a.m. Monday, DeKalb Police stopped a vehicle in the 400 block of West Lincoln Highway. Police learned the driver, Tristan J. Budz, 26, of DeKalb, had a suspended license. Budz was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license. He was later released on bond.

At 12:35 a.m. Monday, DeKalb Police stopped a vehicle in the 1200 block of West Lincoln Highway. Police learned the driver, Latrise A. Brown, 25, of DeKalb, had a suspended license. Brown was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and no insurance.
