CENTER FOR BLACK STUDIES host the lecture “Black Studies Past, Present and Future: A Study of Inclusion in Higher Education” at 8 p.m. at the Center for Black Studies. Robert Starks, the founding director of NIU’s Center for Black Studies and director of the Harold Washington Institute for Research and Policy Stduies, will give the lecture. NIU COUNSELLING ASSOCIATION AND PSI CHI is hosting a presentation on careers in the mental health field from 5 to 6 p.m. at Graham Hall Room 424. If you enjoy helping people, consider serving your community as a career path. Get information from the professionals on education requirements and specific counseling-related careers. NIU COUNSELING LAB is hosting confidential counseling services, open to anyone, from 11 to 6 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays at Graham Hall Room 416. For more information call 815-753-9312.

PAUSE OFF! is hosting an informational meeting from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Stevenson South Fishbowl Room. Come learn about Pause Off! Pause Off! is a peer education theater troupe that focuses on healthy relationships. Come to engage in activities such as improvisation games and learn more about the group. RESIDENCE HALL ASSOCIATION will host a “Haunted Hall” from 7 to 11 p.m. in the Neptune North Basement next to the computer lab. Donations are accepted.
