Tonight the upbeat, rock, semi-reggae-styled music of O.A.R. will rock the Convocation Center.
This is their first appearance at the Convo since 2006. So to get all of the fans who may be going to see the high-energy band ready, here is a selection of five great O.A.R songs that will hopefully make an appearance at tonight’s concert.

“This Town”
With its catchy opening guitar rift and overall uplifting melody, “This Town” would be the perfect way to open a high-energy concert. The fast beat, but peaceful hometown feeling the song incurs is a great way to put the crowd into a harmonious and happy mood.

“Shattered”
“Shattered” is one of the radio releases from O.A.R.’s 2008 studio album “All Sides.” Expect this song to make an appearance when the band attempts to speed the concert up after a few slow songs. It starts out slow and sentimental but during the chorus continually builds and builds until the end of the song, when it turns into a very uplifting sing-along.

“Love and Memories”
Probably the band’s most popular radio-released songs, “Love and Memories,” opens with an electric and exciting drum and guitar section. When the chorus hits and the lights flare it is almost guaranteed that the crowd will jump to its feet and clap to the beat.

“War Song”
A heartfelt and powerful acoustic song that will probably make an appearance if the band is feeling intimate. This is a great song to slow the concert down and to swoon the crowd with a serenade from lead singer Marc Roberge as well as a possible saxophone section from Jerry DePizzo.

“Crazy Game of Poker”
An instant crowd pleaser. “Crazy Game of Poker” is one of the band’s oldest songs. This song is electric and really allows the band to experiment with new rhythms and always has the audience jamming along.
