Track of the week: “Age Six Racer” by Dashboard Confessional

Trees displaying leaves with a multitude of colors, the smell of burning leaves and a crisp fall air provide the perfect setting to listen to “Age Six Racer,” a song that proves that Dashboard Confessional has lasting musical talent.

The lyrics also describe the changing of seasons in a way that only Chris Carrabba’s melodic voice can.

Carrabba’s voice combined with the soft, delicate female guest vocalist’s voice creates a beautiful sensation in your ears.

Off of the band’s 2000 album, “The Swiss Army Romance,” the song gives listeners a real feeling for what Dashboard Confessional sounds like at their best.
