City police blotter for Nov. 2

At 7:55 a.m. Wednesday, DeKalb Police stopped a vehicle in the 600 block of N. Annie Glidden Road for speeding. Police learned the driver, Tony Curtis, 19, of DeKalb, had a failure to appear warrant in his name, and charged him with displaying false insurance cards, no insurance, speeding, no seat belt and failure to transfer registration. He was later transported to the DeKalb County Jail.

At 10:09 a.m. Wednesday, DeKalb Police stopped a vehicle in the 600 block of W. Lincoln Highway for a broken tail light. Police learned the driver, Steven R. Schrauth, 51, of Elburn, had a failure to appear warrant out of Olga County in his name for producing cannabis plants. Schrauth was arrested on account of the warrant. He was later transported to DeKalb County Jail.
