Brit's VMA performance isn't the only bad comeback

If you’re a book-loving technology guru who has close to $300 to spare, Barnes & Noble’s Nook is for you.
Like Amazon’s Kindle, the Nook is an eBook reader. In the technology wave, these gadgets were created to make reading easier due to the compact size and the convenience of downloading books instantly. A magnifying screen also makes it easier to read, rather than trying to decipher the minuscule text some books contain.
Barnes & Noble advertises that the Nook allows you to download over a million titles. These books are competitively priced at $9.99, all available at Barnes & Noble’s eBook Store.
The gadget’s Web site also advertises thousands of books that are free to download.
Both the Nook and the Kindle are advertised as costing $259.
One way the Nook proves more capable than the Kindle is by being able to hold up to 1500 titles, while the Kindle’s Web site only says that it can hold over 200.
These devices are wireless-enabled, which makes getting books simpler and more convenient than driving to a store.
Another feature the Nook has that makes it appealing to college students is the fact that you can “bookmark, highlight and make notes as you go,” according to its Web site.
Are the Nook and the Kindle the future of books? Possibly, especially as America continues to demand what they want when they want it.
However, are they worth your money? If you’re an avid reader that longs for your favorite titles to become more portable and technologically up-to-date, then go for it.
