FAMILY CONSUMER AND NUTRITION SCIENCE 320 will host “Taste of Thai” today from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Ellington’s in the Holmes Student Center. Step out of the ordinary and into Thailand for a lunch that is sure to excite the palette. For more information, call Kari Wagner at 630-335-6256.

NIU ART MUSEUM will host the lecture “...Of Or Pertaining to Dirt” by Karen Brown in Altgeld Hall Room 315. This lecture is part of the School of Art Faculty Biennial Lecture Series and is free and open to the public. NIU COUNSELING LAB will host free counseling sessions today, and Thursday in Graham Hall Room 416 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Free, confidential counseling services are open to anyone. For more information, call 815-753-9312.

NIU LIBERTARIANS are hosting a movie night in the Holmes Student Center, room 405 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The movie presented will be 2006’s “V for Vendetta” for entertainment purposes. Free food and beverages will be provided. For more information, call Steven Ray Vaughn at 630-945-0303.

PAUSE OFF! is hosting an informational meeting at 6 p.m. at the Stevenson South Fishbowl. Pause Off! is a peer education theatre troupe that focuses on healthy relationships.
