S.I.S.T.E.R.S. will host a coat drive today from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Holmes Student Center bus turn-around. Come and donate coats and/or hoodies. For more information, e-mail Elizabeth Elie at elizabeth_elie@yahoo.com.

S.I.S.T.E.R.S. will host Penny Votes, where students can come to vote for their favorite nominee for Tribute to Black Men, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in DuSable Hall. Voting is held today through Monday, Nov. 9. For more information, e-mail Furrennecia Newberry at furrennecia@tmail.com.

NIU COUNSELING LAB will host free counseling sessions from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. today in Graham Hall Room 416. Free, confidential counseling services are open to anyone. For more information, call 815-753-9312.

THE VASSEUR GROUP

NIU COLLEGE OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES is hosting a “Comfort Cafe” from 11 a.m. 12:30 p.m. at Ellington’s in the Holmes Student Center. Students from FCNS 320 Quantity Food Production develop and run their own restaurant, Comfort Cafe, Reservations are strongly encouraged. $9 per person. NIU FILM SOCIETY is hosting a viewing of the 1985 Martin Scorsese film “After Hours.” This is the second film in the Film Society’s two-week long Scorsese series. Viewing runs from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Reavis Hall Room 211. For more information, e-mail Anthony Coman at niufilm@gmail.com.
