DeKALB | The following is an injury update for NIU going into tonight’s game against Eastern Michigan.

Starting quarterback Chandler Harnish did some light running, but was still not cleared to practice as of Tuesday, and is questionable for tonight’s game.

Kill confirmed that fullback Connor Flahive will be able to play in tonight’s game.

Safety David Bryant is still out due to a knee injury, but has shown improvement. Kill said his goal was to have Bryant back possibly for next week’s game against Ball State.

Offensive lineman Jason Onyebuagu suffered an ankle sprain in the first quarter against Akron. The lineman, however, played his best game since Kill came to NIU, the head coach said. Kill was optimistic Monday, saying he thinks “[Onyebuagu] has a chance to play.”
