After an emotional victory Wednesday against No. 11 Northwestern, the men’s soccer team looks to keep momentum on its side this weekend by getting back to its MAC schedule and traveling to New York to face MAC newcomer Hartwick at noon Sunday.

After the thrilling 2-1 double-overtime win against the Wildcats, the Huskies and head coach Steve Simmons are talking about ending the season on a high note heading into the MAC Tournament.

“Now there are three matches we have to play, and right now you’re looking at us trying to peak at the right time,” Simmons said. “I think we’ve been playing awfully well.”

Hartwick has a 0-1-2 conference record and is 3-4-6 overall, but the Huskies aren’t overlooking anybody.

“We’ve got a massive game at Hartwick on Sunday,” Simmons said. “A big conference game.”
