Huskies fall to Miami in a tough five sets

Toledo, Ohio — The Northern Illinois volleyball team took last year’s Mid-American Conference champions to a fifth set in the quarterfinals of the MAC Tournament, but could not come away with the upset as they fell 15-6 the third-seeded RedHawks (19-10) hit .375 to sixth-seeded NIU’s (18-14) .087 behind Hallie Hanks’ five kills in the deciding set.
