Preschool screenings available next month

The DeKalb Community Unit School District 428 is holding infant/preschooler screening for children not yet in kindergarten.

The screening is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 25 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesday, Aug. 26 from 8 to 11 a.m. The screening will take place both days at the Gwendolyn Brooks Elementary School, 3225 Sangamon Road in DeKalb.

The screening is free and includes educational and speech/language components, as well as vision and hearing screenings.
