The right candidate for this sports writer position will be able to work flexible hours, including many evenings and weekend. Duties includ e covering area sports events and activities, including high school, junior high, youth leagues and recreational leagues in and around Bureau County.

Candidate should possess strong grammar and writing skills, while adhering to deadlines. Digital photography skills and page lay-out skills are a plus.

Experience is preferred but will train the right person.
